DVD audio remote control for the BMW X5 . This will only work for factory installed BMW entertainment systems. If you have an aftermarket or dealership installed system, this remote will not work for you. Please check with your dealer or your owners manual if you are unsure of compatibility. Connecting remote control
Two wireless remote controls can be connected. One remote control can be connected within the vehicle only, via front or rear iDrive.
1. "Settings"
2. "Connections"
3. "Headphones/remote"
4. Press and hold the Menu button and Confirmation button on the remote control for 5 seconds. 2 LEDs on the remote control flash for 10 seconds. Execute the next step, as long as the LEDs are flashing.
5. "Add new device" The remote control will appear in the list of connected devices. Information about the connected remote control are displayed.
