2005 Town and Country's and Dodge Durango's are a little tricky because they can have either an infrared (IR) or radio frequency (RF) system.   Before you select a headphone, you should find out which system your vehicle has. Here are a few tips on how to find out:

 1)  First, try checking your owners manual to see if it gives you any clues. It may discus a "scan button"  which is a sure giveaway that it's an RF system.   

 2)  Next, if you have one of the original headphones that came with the car , check to see if it has a "scan" button. That's a sure giveaway that it's an RF system. 

 3)  Lastly, try calling the dealership and  talk to the parts department.  You should be able to get the part number from them by giving them the vin number on your car.   Once you have that number, let me know and I'll be able to tell you if it's IR or RF.
